Your icons don’t need to contain color or have the gradient style applied to them manually — just make them monochromatic and let iPhone take care of the rest. You can find more information in the iPhone Reference Library.

アイコンには色をつける必要はないし、グラデーションをつける必要もない。モノクロで作って、あとはiPhoneに任せよう。詳しくはiPhone Reference Libraryを見るといい。
